Looking for more info on my Bennett family in DeKalb County, IL and LaSalle County, IL My grandfather, Charles Wesley Bennett (another one!) was a "Lay Minister" in the areas of Sheridan, Somonauk, and maybe Sandwich, IL in late 1890's-1900's?. I may not have all three towns listed correctly, but it is very close.

My g-grandfather: Samuel Bennett + Rebecca Tobias Samuel worked on the rail road in IL. b. abt 1836, OH (?)

My grandfather: Charles Wesley Bennett + Lucy Emma Kupfer (Kipfer) Charles W. was a carpenter and lay minister.

My father: Ralph Frederick Bennett + (Ann) Emma Talitha Bolden. Ralph b. abt 1898, IL, was a carpenter and our family attended the Aurora (IL) Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years.

I can list children and birth dates if anyone thinks they may know these people. I'm willing to share what little I do know.
