The names I am looking for are John P Bellamy - Mary Wolfe who had a son Robert P Bellamy born (18 Nov 1847-Hawkins Co. TN. Married (23 Dec 1866 Hawkins Co. TN) a Cornelia Elizabeth Mendenhall born(22 June 1848-North Carolina). One of their children was John Wesley Bellamy born (25 Sept 1886-Scott Co. Virginia). John Wesley married a Vina Mae Lloyd born (17 Dec 1896 Church Hill, Hawkins Co. TN). One of their children was John Wesley Bellamy, Jr. born (6 Feb 1917, Westview, Kingsport, Sullivan Co. TN). John Wesley Jr (Jay or JW) as he was known, took a first wife (Beatrice Ring)in late 1930s or early 1940s. Served as PFC in Army in WW 2. After the military became a bus driver for City Transportation of Kingsport, TN in which he worked for over 31 years(retiring) and than went to work for Paul Bellamy Furniture. JW took a second wife on 1 June 1949, a Cordia Sylvia Smith. There residences were 509 Mt. Ida place & 161 Rosefield Drive in Kingsport, TN.
John Wesley Bellamy Jr. died on 12 Dec. 1996. Obit appeared in Kingsport Times on 13 Dec 1996. Buried on 14 Dec 1996 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kingsport, Sullivan Co. TN. Would appreciate any contact or info on the above. Thanks.
