Hi Bill, just now reading this thread. Archibald was born 1828 not 1833. My source is his headstone and military pension record. Archibald was administrator of William's Estate as well as Pleasant's. Also, I found some information on Louvinia that I am trying to trace down now. One of her children was named Newton A. Most likely for her brother, Archibald Newton Bellamy. I strongly suspect that Archibald is William and Bathsheba's child. I was told years ago that there was a bible page stating that Bathsheba had 2 kids: a girl and a boy and she died in childbirth. However, the person would not produce the bible record to show nor does it prove the names of the children if there really is such a record. I think later on in this thread someone says that the bible page came from Alvin J. Bellamy. If that is the case, he may not have have gotten all the info or may have confused the info. He was one of the youngest of William and Sarah. Just my 2 cents.
