As a hobby I rescue old photos that have identification on them and attempt to get them back into the hands of family. I have a beautiful photo of a family of four. On the back is written: "Dave Beck, Mandy Beck, Mirlin Beck & Elsie Beck 1905."

I ran a simple search on Familysearch.org and found that Elsie/Elza is a son. Mirlin is a daughter. In the 1940 census his name is spelled Elzy. More masculine I think? I also found that Mirlin's name is actually, Claudia Murlin Beck & she married W.E. Reynolds the first time. Apparently in 1929 she remarried to William F. Harroun, son of Arthur Harroun & Flora Shephard.. Mirlin was born in Missouri in 1888. Elzy was born in 1902 in Missouri.
