Am looking for the parents of Francoise Beauvais
born in StMartinn de'Inge, Mortagne Orne Perche France.
Francoise was born in 1565, he Married Marie Tichot
who was born in 1570 in the same town.

What is the correct way to pronounce your last name.
I am trying to figure out the spelling of my great-grandmothers maiden name.
It is either beauvoss or veauvoss.

Most people pronounce the name as beau-vay, that pronounciation leads to some of the varient spellings. Bovay, Bova, etc.

daughter Catherine Tetu b 1689 Laprairie
the other one
Jacques Beauvais dit st Gemmes B?D? married Jeanne Soled
son Raphael B Oct 1654 Montreal
I do not know if Jacques and Marguerite are brother
and sister, or cousins?
The two lines comes togehter with my gg grand
father Constant Poupart b abt 1770.

Francoise Beauvais is my 10x Great Granfather. My father did an extensive family history which I am looking to add to. Any information anyone could provide would be helpful. I did find Francoise's fathers name, but I could not locate his mother.
