" BEATTY, Joseph was born in County Armagh, Ireland, in 1813, and
came to Canada at c. age 16. About 20 years ago, he settled in
Woodstock, where he died, May 6, 1867; survived by his wife and a
large family. -- July 31, 1867, p. 124, O."
