Mary Louise Beardeu, seven-year- old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Schmittou, died at their home on North Marion street at 7:30 last night. Pneumonia caused death. She leaves her mother and stepfather, one brother, Levi two years of age, a sister, Betty Jo, whose age is seven months, and a grandmother, Mrs. Callie Bearden, of Boskydell. The funeral service will take place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Carbondale Funeral Home with Rev. O. W." Shields, pastor ot the Missionary Baptist church, officiating. Burial in Oakland cemetery.
