(At one time both David and Johnathan, sons of William Beal lived with this uncle and their sister Amanda lived with him I believe after parents died. She doesn't seem to have married. In the 1880 Census for Norton, Summit Co, Ohio Daniel is 60, Eliza is 59and living with them is a niece Carrie Dressler and nephew Simon P Dressler. Simon Dressler married Alice Peters 19 Dec 1882 in Medina, Ohio)

William Beal b ca 1823 Pa d ? where ? married 14 May 1848 in Summit Co, Ohio Rebecca Sterner b 16 Dec 1825 d 24 Feb 1913.

(According to the 1870 Census for Summit Co, Ohio William and Rebecca had two small children ages 4 and 1. In 1880 William and Rebecca are in Ashland, Ashland Co, Ohio with children, Marion age 14 and Catherine age 11. Their son Franklin is back living with them with a five year old daughter. Wife Eliza has Passed away.)

My name is Daniel Clayton Beal. My father is Thomas Philip Beal, son of Clayton Addison Beal, son of Philip C. Beal son of Simon Peter Beal who served in Civil War. As far back to Philip Beal they resided in Penfield or Wellington Ohio. Philip had sons Forest, Hugh and Harry d.1932, also daughter Hazel. Are the names above familiar? Or should I keep looking.

my great grandmother was Sadie Hollingsworth Beal, she was married to Harvey C Beal and I am pretty sure they are decendents of Philip Beal, a lot of her family are buried in the Murray Ridge Cemetary in Elyria

Also David (d. 14 Mar 1912 / Doylestown) and Elizabeth Cassel Beal (d. 4 Nov 1919 / Cuyahoga Falls)?
