Hi Phil, I do hope we may have a connection.
Mark Dolding was my great great grandfather. He was born 5 Dec 1824 in Woking, Surrey, England. He was a builder/contractor in London building tenement housing. He married Ann Brown (or Ann Holdforth) about 1850 and had a family of 13 children. Jesse, my great grandfather was the youngest but he spoke very little of the rest of his family. Marks death 26 Sept 1889 Greenwich, Greater London, Kent, London

Im related to them,
Albert Dolding b.1900 married my Great Aunt Victoria Alice Bass in 1923, she was my Grandfathers sister.
I see that you have her name as Adelaide, she was known to the family as "Queenie", would you know if she had Adelaide as another name?
She was b.1901 in Epping,Essex.

I have checked my notes and can only confirm Bass, not Adelaide. I've checked the BDM and have now updated with the information you supplied. Thanks heaps for the correction. Who is your grandfather?

My Grandfather was Henry (Harry) George Bass b.1903 in Edmonton,London.
Queenie's daughter Doris is in her 80s now and lives in Kent, I hear from her occasionally.
There is one sibling of Queenie's still alive, Stanley, b.1916.
I have a close connection with Australia as my sister lives in Calamvale,Qld, and my brother is in Adelaide, they emigrated in 1974 with my parents, I never went with them, I live in Surrey, not far from Wimbledon.
How is Mark Dolding related to the Kent Dolding's?
