Hi Lesley, saw your offer to look up Beach family members. Do you have anything on a Lance Beach from Prescott, ont? I believe he was born around 1925.
Many thanks.

Hello.

I have been away, so a little late for your reply.
I am looking a the "Beach" book for you, as of yet
I have not found Lance Beach. Do you know where the Beach
family came from or Lance's parents names?? The Iroquois/Morrisburg cornwall area has alot of Beach history
but I have failed to find a Lance there. It is possible his family came from somewhere else to settle there.
Do you have names of any brothers or sisters as well?
I will try to keep looking for you but any other additional info would certainly help, along with Lance's wife and children if any.
Lesley

Hi Lesley, Thank you for your reply. No, we do not know any other names associated with Lance Beach, only his. We were told he lived in Prescott,Ontario around 1947 when he was about 26 years old. Maybe, he lived in Ottawa. If you ever come across his name please let me know. Thank you again for trying, we really appreciate your effort.

Some years ago I transcribed the complete data from pp 282 through 547 of Beach in Canada. This section covers the family of David "The Pioneer" Beach and Phoebe Daniels, who settled in Grenville Co and whose descendents spread into Leeds, Renfrew, Carleton, Dundas, and Stormont counties. All of this data, including BIC page number references, is shown in this WorldConnect chart:

Data from other sources is also included.

I read that you have a copy of Mahlon Beach's book and had earlier offered to look up a name. I am hoping you might also make that offer to me. My great grandfather, David Beach, died young and my grandfather, Herbert C. Beach, was sent to live with Mahlon Beach and his family. I have not been able to find out any information concerning how David Beach died (an accident, but nothing more) or where he is buried. Is David Beach (brother of Mahlon) mentioned? Also, is Herbert Cooke Beach mentioned or are pictures of him as a child included? I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi: My name is Philip Baldwin, oldest son of Lois Baldwin who co-wrote Beach in Canada with her father, Mahlon Beach. I have just seen your query. The book is not copy-protected. My grandfather wanted all Beach descendants to know about their ancestors.

However, if you are still seeking the information in the book, there is a Beach relative in the US that has almost completed copying the entire book into the computer in Word format, and this should be available shortly should you be interested.
