A lady named Mrs. Frederick C. Lange did a lot of research on the Jacob Beabout family back in the 1950s, as part of her research to complete her application for membership in the DAR. She had Edith BARKHILL/BARKWELL (spelling varied from document to document) living in Newport, Ohio.
