Hello, My Grandfather was Cornelius Baxter, the son of John Baxter and Grandson of Amos Baxter. The census indicated that they were from Charleston, SC, but they moved to North Caroline around 1950. They are black, but John's father and mother were Mulattos. If you know of this family, please reply. Thank You, Mary
