Thank you for replying to my message. The Baxters that I am searching for was from Ireland about 1758, they landed in Charleston, SC. William Baxter from Ireland married Sarah Borryhill of Mecklenburg County, N.C., my Baxter's ancestors were african and mulatto,my home is in Gaffney, S.C.All the information I obtain is from South Caroline--Gaffney and Charleston from the library.
