Glenys,

Hello,

The Baxter family that I am searching for are from Charleston, South Carolina. Amos Baxter is listed on the 1860 census as a free inhabitants in the 7th ward Charleston City(whatever that means) in Charleston South Carolina, his wife as Mathilda and their children were Rebecca, James Francis, Edward and John. John is my ggfather who is listed on the 1900 census, he married Eliza and their children were James, Jessie, Lela, Lovie, Corina, Willie, Tosie and Cornelius who is my gfather. Do you have any information on these families. Thank you. Mary
