Thank you so much for that information. Let me give you some of the information that I have obtained from my research so far. The Amos Baxter that I believe is my Great-Great-Greatfather was a Mulatto and a Millwright. His wife name was Mathilda and they had the following children. Rebecca, James, Francis, Edward and John. John is my Great-Greatfather his wife was Eliza and thier children were James, Jesse, Lela, Lovie, Carrie, Willie, Cornelius(who is my Grandfather) and Tosie. As far as I know some of the Baxters' moved to North Carolina. My Grandfather Married Zillia Littlejohn and they lived in Gaffney South Carolina, My Grandmother is still living, but she lives in a Nursing Home in Gaffney South. Do any of this information help.
