Hi Pat - well fancy that. How far have you got back with
your Baxendales? I am stuck at my ggg grandparents who married in 1783. There are too many Williams and Marys to be absolutely certain so am not bothering.
Don't know whether any of yours were married at Weldbank but
at Astley Research Centre they have 2 files with marriages
from 1856 - 1949. Have discovered loads of mine.
I only noticed the other day that the 1911 census images only were accessible and I have been tediously crawling through the enumeration districts ever since. Will be easier when they are transcribed.
