My gggrandfather Nelson Baum was born in Herkimer Ny. 1819. He married Mariah Lant or Landt. I'm trying to find his lost parents. There is a family tradition that says they came to New York from Pensylvania. It's an easy hop but I can't find the tie. I have most of his family after they left N.Y. and headed west.
