I'm researching Rev War Veteran Capt. John Battles who applied for pension in Erie Co PA. He served in the Massachusetts Regt. He possibly is connected to the BattlesBattle family who lived in Kent Co DE ca. mid-late1700s.

The Capt. John Battles I'm researching was probably in Erie Co PA during this time frame. There's a possibility he may have been in Kent Co. Delaware area or Massachusetts, but he's been documented in Erie Co PA in 1820. Could the book be from any of these areas? Thank you for your message.
