I am related to the Battin Family my Great grandmother is Jennie or Jane Battin she went by both names she is the Daughter of the Honorable William Battin. They both died in Marshall County, Iowa. William is the son of John Battin Jr. John Battin Jr. was married to Sarah Dew Howard 01 Dec 1824 inMount Pleasant, Jefferson, Ohio, USA. It has been a while since I have researched this line in my family since I have been concentrating on other lines of my family tree.
