So I have been trying to find the parents of Joseph Bastedo married to Mary Ann Hankinson for quit some time,see my previous posts.
Joseph was born in 1819 in New Jersey and had George,Joseph,
Joseph H.,Ella and Mary H,this I confirmed in census and other records beginning with the 1850 census to the 1880.
I have found a tree in the Family search site,it records the only place I found Joseph Bastedo with his year of birth and parents,It records his parents as John G. and Gertrude Bastedo,I have found John G Bastedo in the 1850 census but that doesn't list Joseph as a child as he was married in 1845. I am wondering if anybody knows the family of John G,and Gertrude Bastedo?
Did they have an older child names Joseph?
Can this tree be trusted as reliable,how can I varify the parents?
