Your John Paysinger and the other person's Henry Paysinger appear to be the sons of John Paesinger/Peasinger and his wife Magdaline/Magdalene. The older John obtained a grant Rowan County NC in 1757 and on 19 jul 1757 "John Peasinger and wife Magadalin" sold a square parcel on Elisha Creek containing 200 acres to David Jones (Deed Book 2, page 184). The property now lies in Davies County NC and I have a reprint of a map showing the locations of the land grants in that county. John Paesinger's parcel is in the center of the map and was adjacent to one owned by Squire Boone, father of Daniel Boone. David Jones either sold or gave the 200 acre parcel to his son Henry Jones and it was sold to my ancestor Samuel Tate on 20 Jan 1762.

Ancestry census indexes are not finding her in the 1930, which would place her with her parents and hopefully, the known sister. :(

I did search the SSDI on Rootsweb, and found:

Unfortunately, no last residence or last benefit place were in the record. However, since this could be your Helen, it might be worthwhile to look up this record, place a Postem with your contact info, and order the SSN application from the Social Security Administration.

Elizabeth Basinger Santore is my maternal grandmother. Her four surviving daughters (my aunts) all live in the Connellsville and Scottdale area still. And one of my mother's cousins, George Basinger, actually now lives in the house my grandparents lived in from the 1940's to 1980's in Everson.

Elizabeth's living daughters are Virginia (Jean) Kuhns (Connellsville), Betty Oswald (Scottdale), Kay Thieler (Scottdale) and Carol Tishman (Dunbar). Her other daughter (my mother) Geraldine Bednar passed away in 2004. Elizabeth also had a son who died in the 1940's when he was about 12 yrs old. Many of my cousins (her grandchildren) still live in the area. Some of us have moved away (I am in South Florida).

Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry re: George Basinger(1818-1895). Now I need help with parents of George.

Any info out there about parents of Joseph Basinger (1787-1845)? Wife Mariah Elizabeth (1784-1885?). Probably buried at Organ Lutheran Church. One possibility given was John and Elizabeth Basinger but cannot find them in any records. Another is John and Eve Smithers Basinger but can't find a child named Joseph.

Separate issue: Any info on the three Basingers in 1790 census-George, Jacob and John. 1810 census shows three also-John, George and Joseph.

Early Basingers seem to have been a bit clanish and by 1850 you can see this in the census. Mine are almost exclusively the group in Litaker Township (called School District 22,24 in early census records?).

My grandfather was Lorion Basinger. He was Ira Basingers' brother. He was married to Marie Oatney. His daughter is Daliah Hendricks. I do not know much about the Basinger side if the family. But I am curious about all of the Basinger - Oatney Family. I am currrently in contact with Tom Oatney. To update his information. He is my Moms' 4th cousin.

I am 1 of Lorion Basingers' granddaughters. He and Mariexhad 1 daughter. Daliah Marie. Daliah married Morgan Hendricks. They have 5 children. Lorion then married Arlillian R. Hendricks'. Morgans' sister.

I am searching for information on Helen Louise Basinger. Born in Kentucky 1924. I believe she had a sister Mary. She married Herbert French and moved to Illinois. Then she married Max Crowe. Herbert and Helen had 2 living sons..1 born 1943 and another b. 1953.

No her sons have the last name French. Both born in Douglas Co.IL.area One b. in 1943 and one b. in 1953.
She could have been born in Illinois. She had a sister named Mary whose married name was Stewart..Mary married an Elmo Stewart and had 1 child. Helen died in June 1972 in Illinois.
Helen's 1st husband Herbert French died in 1966 and is buried in Douglas Co. IL. but I'm not sure when her second husband Max Crowe died..abt.1983 in Illinois, I think.

I'm looking for anyone that might be related to Henry Basinger.Maybe John Henry Basinger he was in the 1910 census of Stone Co. Arkansas he married my great grandma her name was Mary Mylinda Melvina Curtis.Marys parents were James Madison Curtis from Tenn. and Elizabeth Tennessee Parker from Arkansas. Mary was Henrys (4)wife and Henry was Marys (1)husband.Henry was born in Missiour 1857. His father was born in Tennessee and his mother in Alabama. No other info. on his parents or anyone else. When Henry married my grandma Mary he brought along (2)children from a previous marriage there names were Ernest age 11 and Edith E. age 9 on the 1910 census for Stone Co. Arkansas. By 1910 Henry and Mary had (2) children of their own (1) being my grandma her name was Maud Basinger age 3 at the 1910 census and her brother Noah he was age 5 then. Henry and Mary was married on 28 July 1904 in Searcy Co. Arkansas. Mary was born 4 Nov.1883 and died 23 Jan. 1959 in Leslie, Arkansas. Mary divorced Henry because he beat her often she, later married John Alexander Tester from Searcy Co. Arkansas. I hope someone sees this and can help me. Thanks, Barbara

I am looking for descendants of Aden Baysinger / Basinger who married Jospehine (Isaphene) Sinclair in Perry County Indiana 28 Oct 1878. Their known children are:

Charles b. abt 1879 nothing else known
Ida b. Dec 1887 nothing else known
Louis b. 11 Sep 1889 married Bonnie Hughes, and d. Oct 1967
Gus b. 11 Jun 1892 married to Elizabeth, and d. 18 Dec 1932 in Evansville from tuberculosis
Alonzo Ransom b. 1 Oct 1895 d. 4 Apr 1937 hit by a car in Evansville.

This family was living in Patoka Twp, Pike County Indiana near Winslow in 1910, 1920 living in Gibson County, and then they moved to Evansville.

I am trying to trace a relative, Rosalie MACIK who came from Lithuania (I believe, Kaunas) and settled in Pennsylvania, USA. She married a Charles MICIULIS, although they changed the spelling of their name later (this was in the late 1800’s. Eventually his brother and family moved to Illinois, USA and Charles and family to Minnesota USA. Is this any connection to your MACIK family?
