From the Mobile. Alabama Newspaper:
Sunday, May 16, 1937:
• "W.F. Barton of 208 South Joachim Street was seriously ill three years ago. He has been convalescent ever since.
"During the long months he has been developing his talent as a metal worker until now he is a specialist in his field and the work he does is in demand.
"Barton makes model trains. Not toys, but miniatures of the new streamlined greyhounds of the railroads. He has been working on one of them -- fussing with the details and making minor changes in the lines for a long time."
Not my line, just sharing.
