My grandfather's name was Armor Augustus Bartlett. He was married to Mable Lee Mansfield. Together they had two sons, Hap (nickname) and Raymond Harold Bartlett. Armor had three siblings: 'Bud', Albert and Alberta (twins). Armor's parents were Earl and Amy Bartlett.

I am looking for any information on these relatives. I have no DOB's or DOD's. I would love any help out there.

I couldn't find them online or in the census.

Could you hazard a guess as to the century they lived in: 1700s, 1800s, 1900s - whatever you can provide is better than trying to look at ships passenger lists from the 1600s, or the SSDI 50 years ago.

My great grandfather was Harry Wisner Bartlett, born in Detroit Michigan, died in 1931. Harry is son of Albert Bartlett. My research ends with Albert being born in 1830 and died in 1868. Do you have a place of birth or place of death for either Harry or Albert?

Since Albert's birth is given as 3 different places, it's hard to know for sure. I'm guessing that he died soon after 1863 - perhaps in CivWar, and wife then lived with her parents.

If you know of a living male BARTLETT from this line, you might want to have him participate in the BARTLETT-DNA Project. We have over 160 participants and have matching DNA for 18 separate lines, one of which you probably tie into. You can search "DNA" on this board to see a lot about our project.
