There's a book called "Aaron Bartlett of Brookfield" which you should take a look at. I agree with Doug that Bartletts in the Connecticut River valley of Mass. are a quagmire.
Any male Bartletts who think they have roots there should join the DNA project run by Jim Bartlett, also in this thread. He's begun to make connections among southern Bartletts. He needs more submittals from Bartletts in New England
