Searching for descendents of Ira and Emma Milliken Bartlett who emigrated from Chicago Illinois to England around 1905 with son Ira,Jr.
Ira, Sr., was associated with Armour Meatpacking Co. His date of death is unknown.

Emma, daughter of James Durand Milliken and Jeannie McCarthy, who were married in Philadelphia in 1859, was born there in 1860. She died in 1943 in Sutton Surrey.

Ira, Jr., who owned or managed a large printing company, had at least one child, “young” Scribner, probably named after his uncle Scribner who died young and without children. “Young” Scribner was in the Dunkirk evacuation.

In addition to Ira, Jr., and the older Scribner, Emma and Ira, Sr. had a daughter Jeannie who married Will Barnes. It is not known if they had children.

The grandson of Emma’s sister Bertha Milliken Kromenaker seeks contact with English family with whom there has been no contact since Emma died in 1943.
