Came from Ireland-we believe Bally Hah, County Kilkenny Married to Mary Ade. Thomas' son Edward Thomas Barry settled in Evans, Erie County, NY. He is my great grandfather. He fought in the Civil War with the NY Volunteers, Infantry, 116th, Company A. We are looking documentation on where and when they emigrated which we believe was around 1835-1840.
