Barrilleaux / Barrieau / Barillot

I have extensive information on the Barrilleaux ancestors. Those who descend from Jean Baptiste Barrilleaux,son of Pierre Barillot and grandson of Nicolas Barillot.
All LA, Ms, TX, and surrounding area Barrilleaux are usually descendants of Jean Baptiste and Marie Daigle. Jean Baptiste was exiled to France and was on the LA Bergere that docked in New Orleans in 1785. He was accompanied by several of his sisters and their husbands and children.
A good source of Barrilleaux genealogy is Edmond Barrilleaux, who did the major research on the descendants of Nicolas Barillot(1600's) of Acadia. Nicolas was the first Barillot to settle in the Americas. Contact me at
