Yes, I am researching the
Barretts of Herefordshire. Hubert George
Barrett born Much Marcle in 1893 was my Father. George
Barrett born
Ledbury in 1862 was my Grandfather, and Richard William
Barrett born 1821 in Bishop's
Frome, was my Great Grandfather.
I cannot definitely go further back than that. The
Barretts seem to be very elusive, and rarely appear on any census! I suspect William
Barrett was my Great Great Grandfather.
Would you have any information concerning these people? Any assistance I can get would be greatly appreciated. I live in Australia, so research is sometimes challenging!
