In reviewing many family trees on here regarding Thomas Barnhart and his wife, Margaret, from Greene Co., PA, I have found many who claim that Margaret's maiden name was GRAY. However, after repeated requests for the authority for this assertion, nothing has been forthcoming. What is even more frustrating than this lack of care regarding information, many claim that Margaret died in 1866 in Forest Co. PA, which is miles from Greene Co. Apparently it doesn't matter to these "researchers" that Thomas and Margaret are still both found alive in 1880 living in Greene Co.!!!

Once again, I would like to plead with all of you...........please don't post information unless you have some primary source or at least some LOGIC to back up your claims! Posting unfounded or illogical claims doesn't help anyone including yourself. Can we all just please strive to share good solid information with each other instead of what is currently posted here regarding this family?????
