Thank you so much! I am going to ask my mother in law to help witht he search...she is also a member of ancestry.com. The whole family is thrilled that we now have a picture of GGGrandpa Bernhardt.
Their has been some stories passed down that Sarah Bernhardt stopped in to see Jessie while she was in Detroit, and wanted to take her with her, but the Moore's talked Sarah out of it. I am going to try and prove this story true/untrue so we know if there really was a connection or just one of those rumors that grow in families...
Whatever their stories are I want to learn who they were, and connect them to our family tree. We already treasure the picture. I'll ask my mom where the pictures are (she is still in Michigan for a while) and see if I can scan them for you :)
