Looking for my grandfathers family. He was Alvin William Barnhardt, born Sept 4, 1908 in Chicora, PA. His mother married and took the last name O'Donnell. Shortly after she gave him up for adoption to his maternal grandparents. By the age of 7 or 9 he moved to Kansas with his Aunt Sarah Mohney.
Court records were destroyed in a fire and the family bible which showed his birth record was scribbled out. Anyone who might have any information please contact me.
