This picture was found among my grandmother's belongings in the attic after she passed (a charcoal drawing in a large ornate frame). We had no idea it was there and she never told anyone who it was. We DO have a picture of my grandmother's grandfather, Andrew Barnes, that was identified and I've placed his picture in the corner to compare. My questions:
1. Who is this a picture of? Andrew? his father, Theodore? someone else?
2. Andrew's father Theodore is a mystery to us. He lived in Jefferson, Morris Co., NJ when he and his wife Harriet had their children (1830 census) but then both parents disappear.
When and where was Theodore born? Who were his parents?
When, how and where did he and wife Harriet die? Where are they buried?
Thank you in advance for anything - anything at all! We've searched through the courthouse records, local church records, the local cemeteries - everywhere for years - to no avail. I'm hoping some other family member has a copy of this - or that someone will recognize him.
