Margaret Curry d. 17 Jan 1948 Of Bexar Co., TX was the sister of my great grandfather, Richard Warren Barkley. He listed her in Moffat in 1903 when he enumerated his Barkley branch.
She was born Margaret Francina Barkley 10 June 1863 in Chillicothe, Livingston Co., MO. She was the second child and only daughter of James Chambers Barkley III and Malinda Catherine Warren who sadly died of TB due to privations of the Civil War.
Malinda C. Warren called Linnie was the 13th child (of 15) and 8th daughter of Thomas Warren and Malinda Cornelison.
After her death, her brother Charles Kavanaugh Warren looked after her children.
The parents of James Chambers Barkley III were James Chambers Barkley II and Rebecca Hart, both of KY.
James Chambers Barkley I was a pioneer in KY (Lewis Co.) and married his first cousin Catherine Crawford daughter of William Crawford and Elinor.
