The reference to Margaret Francina Barkley and her brother Richard Warren Barkley is close to the end of the book. Their father was James Chambers Barkley III of descent from the John Barkley who sailed from Londonderry possibly in 1750 (as James Chambers Barkley I is believed to have been born at sea). My late father always told me that John Barkley came with his brothers and one was the ancestor of the Vice President from Kentucky Alban Barkley. John Barkley went to Fayette Co., PA. The James Chambers Barkley born at sea took his Revolutionary grant in Kentucky on the Cabin Creek (now in Lewis Co.)
Since you have the book, could you please post the information?
Thanks a lot
