I am looking for information on my great grandparents, Francis Marion Barefield (dob 1846) and Ellen Singletary Barefield (dob 1853/56) They resided in Grimes County, Texas, USA, and had children named Ida M. Barefield, Garrett A. Barefield, Thomas Owen Barefield, and LuLu Alice Barefield. Thomas Owen Barefield and Florence Lively Meredith Barefield were my grandparents. Their son, Billy Gene Barefield, is my father. (Daddy's name was changed when he was 17 years old from William Eugene Barefield to Billy Gene Barefield.)
