No, never did get an answer. My husband is a Hackett and his earliest ancester we have found is a Joseph Hackett who lived for a time in the Middleboro area. We are looking to connect him to anyone we can and that is what led me to ask about Elinor. We have tried to link him to Jabez Hackett who was also in the area but have been unable to. Can Elinor possibly be linked to Jabez?

I'm tracing my roots back and I'm stumped at a Frederick Barden who lived in Dover, Mass. He was the superintendent of a mill there. I found some info that says he may have been born in 1771 in Taunton, Mass.

Can anyone help me figure out where he came from??

Do you know if Emily may have been the mother of Eric and Douglas Barden, both deceased and born in the 1920s, probably in Ticehurst? Eric later moved to Lamberhurst and Douglas to Robertsbridge.

If so, I think Emily may have later lived in Swan Cottage on Lamberhurst Down until her death - in the 1950s?

I am Eric Barden's son, also at a dead-end!

Have found your post from 2000. Hope you get this reply. Arthur Guido Finster was my gg-grandfather. Migrated to Bendigo, Victoria, Australia c.1850 He was from Gurlitz in Prussia (now eastern most city in Germany) and I believe he was a musician. Looking forward to any replies.

This lady and her husband as well as other Barham's are buried behine a small strip mall on Hwy 155 in Henry county Georgia. Five graves are located inside a rock wall. The names are; 1. Benjamin F. Barham, Jan 23 1846-April 18, 1891 2. Timothy Tharpe Barham Jr. Pvt Co H Inf. Reg. Confederate States Army, 1844-1914. 3. Betty Brown Barham, 1849 Campbell County, Tennessee,Dec. 1879 Henry County Georgia, Wife of Wm H.H. (Hal) Braham. $. Adeline Barden Barham, 1810 Columbia County, Georgia, 20 Sept. 1888 Henry County, Wife of T.T. Braham Sr. 5. Timothy T. Barham Sr. 641 St Militia Confederate States Army, Nov 10, 1808-June 12, 1883, Columbia County, Georgia. To find the graves go south out of McDonough Georgia on Hwy. 155 and about one mile before you enter Spalding County, on the right you will see a subdivision by the name of Heron Bay. Turn in Heron Bay go about 200 feet and turn left and go behind a strip mall and the graves will be on the right about 300 yards. You can see the rock wall from the drive way. I feel sure that this was the old home place that the Barham's lived on in Henry County, Georgia after the War.

Hi there, I don't suppose you have any record of a Susan Barden, daughter of Paul Barden and Jane?, born in Mayo Townland on the border of County Carlow about 1833? Susan married John Walker at Cootehill in County Cavan 9 August 1855 had three sons at Cootehill (Drumgoon Parish) before the family immigrated to South Africa. They had a daughter Margaret there and then a daughter, Mary Ann, on board the "Maori" as they were immigrating to New Zealand. Five more children were born to them in New Zealand. My grandfather, Richard, was one of them. Susan's mother Jane was enumerated on the Griffiths evaluation of 1852-53 as a widow. She was the only Barden recorded. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi, My g-g-g-g grandmother was Alsie Dail Carpenter married to Timothy Carpenter. I believe that William Julian Dail and Elizabeth Barden were her parents. If you have any information about them, I would truly appreciate it. Timothy and Alsie ended up in Texas. If you could help me with any additional information, I would be very greatful.

Place names of Inch, Wexford were covered by the following Graveyards: Castletown RC; Inch C of I; Ardcolm Old, blackwater, St. Bridgets Old; Castle Ellis Old.
Tinnock was St. John Appostle; Castletown RC; Clonatin Old, Kilnenor; Limerick; and Ballykerogue
Using the names BarDAN; BarDEN; BarDON, and Barnes there are a number of inscriptions, however, none are in the graveyards or churchyards as listed above.
Two names BarDEN and Barnes were in Wicklow and now posted to the Cemetaries & tombstone topic board:

Ok, briefly, I have Daniel Barden b 1720 m Sarah Kaye b 1715, son William Barden b 1752 m Elizabeth Longley b 1758, their son Joseph barden b 1784 m Susannah Wainwright and had son joseph b 1813 m harriet Senior.
All from kirkburton/ Cumberworth.
Please don't take all this as gospel, as i could have made mistakes, but most of this is from reliable sources.
i've got more details if you want them!

When did this happen. My gg grandmother and a sister was put in an orphanage in Indiana about 1850. My GG Grandmother was Margaret Jane Barden. I am not sure of the spelling of the last name.

Looking for information on Charlotte Barden, born Feb. 1814 at Stoddard, MA (LDS info. - not verified).

I found Charlotte with her parents, Elijah and Caroline Barden, in the 1850 census in Vermont. Elijah Barden was born about 1783 - MA.

Charlotte Barden married Jonathan Badger Dec. 3, 1840 at Hartland, Vermont, and she died Dec. 23, 1881 at Hartland, VT.

Seeking any additional information and trying to verify what I've found on Charlotte and her family.

From the VRI discs I see that Daniel married Sarah 20Jun1751 in Kirkburton, YKS but William was christened 29Oct1752 in Henley, YKS (so far I cannot find out where Henley is)
It also appeared that he might have had at least one brother, one sister & a daughter - does that sound right?

I'm trying to find one line of my wife's ancestors - her grandfather James G North married Ann Barden b.1839, the daughter of James Barden & Harriet Senior. I can take the Senior line back a further 4 generations but I'm stuck on James Barden. Ann Barden was born on 24 Dec 1839 at Bankbottom in Shelley, Huddersfield, YKS, ENG.
She appeared (as North) on the census of 1871 at Back Lane, Bramley, Leeds, YKS, ENG; aged 30.
