Wondering if there are any descendants of the various colonial Barber families of New Jersey who have taken any of the autosomal DNA tests offered by Family Tree DNA, 23andMe, or Ancestry.com? Family Tree DNA has a Barber project but not all lines are represented for the Y-DNA category and no information is given about anyone who may have taken the Family Finder test. This would be of help to identify potential relationships between the various families.

Looking also for Barber surname males descended from Thomas (c. 1736-1816) and Margaret (c. 1737-1825) Barber of Greenwich Township, Warren County, who would be willing to participate in the Barber project. Thomas and Margaret had two sons: Samuel and John.
