My wife (Debbie) has been searching for her dad for all her life. All she has is a birth certificate he signed Wayne Barber in Houson, Tx. on May 16th of 1960. He was 22 then working at a service station. Wayne and Wilma McCormick (or Berg,not sure what name Wilma was using at the time)(Debbie's Mom) came from Colorado where they met. We do not believe they were married. He told Wilma they moved there because he had family there or was from there. He was in the service, possibly the navy at some time. Debbie's mother would not speak of him much before she died and would avoid the subject. So all we have is that little bit that was on her birth cert.. Many have tried to find him, but we have been at a lost for years. Any info would be helpful. my email is singerdd@fone.net. thxs
