Richard- I have never been able to find a death date for Louis b. 1823 and his wife Eulalie. There is a story I have had online re Louis being thrown off a horse & killed, and perhaps property confiscated. If anyone has info on this Louis & wife Eulalie, I would appreciate clarification, etc.

The parents of Louis b 1823 - Louis and Catherine Boyer- emigrated to Wisconsin. They are both shown in the 1870 census in Fond du Lac. Catherine is in the 1880 census in Fond du Lac, and died May 16, 1891. I have her death notice, etc., but have not found anything more on Louis b ca 1795. Their son, Peter/Pierre, had also emigrated to Fond du Lac and established a long line of Barbeaus in Wisconsin; Peter died Jan 1916 in Fond du Lac.
