Hi Carlo, I'm also a descendant of the Baracco family. My Grandmother was Livia Baracco Lanteri, daughter of Giuseppe Vincenzo Baracco. Giuseppe was born on 13 February 1864 at San Damiano di Asti (Piedmonte). His parents were Giuseppe Baracco and Anna Molino.He married Giuseppa Zampa, lived and raised his 6 children at the Castello di Villarboit (Vercelli)He died 1946/47? He was in the Cavalry. I'm not sure what the family connection is but our ancestors share common names. In a photo album from about 1910 we also have photo's of a man named Carlo in military uniform, perhaps a brother to Giuseppe? I would love to have more details but I live outside of Italy, in South Africa, where my father settled after WW II. regards Anna

hola que tal mi nonbre es cesar gamarra baracco mi mama es maria de los angeles rosario baracco mc kenzie mi tio es jose francisco baracco mc kenzie mi abuelo es abelardo baracco gandolfo su hermano es victor baracco gandolfo y su hermano tambien es juvenal baracco gandolfo somos desendinetes de guissepee baracco no se bien la historia y me gustaria saber mas acerca de ello y podemos saber mas de la historia ya que la mayoria termina en huacho y no se sabe mas creo q lo que sigue seria mi familia ya que en peru somos pocos baracco

Hi there... My grandfather was Angelo Baracco Donati and he was brother of Giuseppe Baracco.
Giuseppe Baracco lived in Peru with his wife and childrens but he died in Huacho (Peru)

I dont know what happens with his wife and childrens but I think they back to Italy.

Hi, I am Carlo Baracco and my family is still living close to Finalmarina, which is the native place of Giuseppe Baracco (why also Donati?), son of Vincenzo and direct member of my family.
I don't know anything about his life after Garibaldi, except that he moved in South America. I saw a pic of him at the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento in Rome so I decided to look for further info ande here I am.

My grandfather was Angelo Baracco Donati and his brother Giuseppe Baracco Donati fought with Garibaldi and their father was Vincenzo Baracco.

I am the third Angelo Francesco on the line, my late father had
that name too.

Angelo Baracco Donati was a good man because he gave land to his landworkers and one city that he gift have the name of
Ricardo Palma (Peru)

Giuseppe Baracco was Navy Captain and he died in (Huacho)
Peru. I dont know what happen with his wife and childrens.

Si fue una sorpresa encontrar tu correo con informacion de Angelo Baracco Donati. Mi familia tenia informacion de Emilio, Giuseppe y Pietro Baracco Donati, pero no teniamos informacion de Angelo. Tambien existe la posibilidad que ellos tenian una hermanas que eran monjas, no se si tengas alguna informacion al respecto. Mandame un correo a mi email rlainez76@yahoo.com. Myfamily spend too much time trying to find family of mi great grand ma.
mi father is Jaime velarde Andrade, His father was Fernando Velarde Baracco, his mother was Esther Baracco Segarra and her father was Emilio Baracco,Orginal from Ligure.
Thats the line family.

My father is Juluis F Baracco born in California his father was Charles Louis BARACCO born in California and his father was Lui BARACCO born in Italy married a Nicoleta ROSSI born in Italy. Nicoleta ROSSI was also married to a Giacomo B. LAGORIO born in Italy.
Have very little on my dads family.My dad or brother or sisters are no longer with us so have no information other than this. We are also related to Rossi and Banchero

Searching for descendents or relatives of Emilio Baracco from Finalmarina, Italy (now know as Finale Ligure). He was my great grandfather and had two daughters in South America (Ecuador) by the late 1800's He traveled throughout the Americas and we have understood he also lived some time in the United States before going back to Italy. He also had a brother or close relative who fought as a member of the 1000 volunteer in the Garibaldi's campaign in Sicily his name was Vincenzo Baracco. The family name is well known in Genoa and surroundings in the Liguria Region. If this story is familiar in your family history, perhaps we may be distant relatives.
