John G. ATKISSON married two DEWEESE sisters -- the first one was Mary (shown in 1880 census, who died in 1881 in Benton County, Ark.). He married her sister, Martha DEWEESE in 1881 in that locality. They were daughters of Solomon DEWEESE and Mary Ann FLANNERY, who lived in Texas County, MO. for a time and the cousinship of Willie Ann HENRY might be through this family. In fact, a Willie DEWEESE (born ca 1865) is attached to some online trees (without sources) as a child of Solomon DEWEESE and his wife, Sarah Leticia HOLT. However, I'm doubtful of this as Sarah (the mother) has a birth date shown as ca 1812. That means she would have been 53 years old when this Willie was born, which highly unlikely.
However, there may be a connection to our Willie Ann HENRY somewhere.
