Sevena Brown Bankhead Patton died April 2, 2004 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born November 10, 1921 on the Bankhead homestead in Fremont County, Colorado to Ernest and Ollie Bankhead.

She married David Uriah Patton on June 23, 1941 in Denver, Colorado. They lived and ran a cattle ranch at Currant Creek, then Webster Park. Her husband died in 1955. She was a city clerk in Cripple Creek, CO followed by a matron at the women's prison in Canon City, CO.

She is survived by her children Kent Patton, Renee Hern, Nathan Patton, Ernie Patton; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Agnes Bankhead, Lena Wayrynen, and Anna McDonald.

Arrangements handled by Wilson Funeral Home. Burial of cremated remains to be in Lakeside Cemetery, Canon City.
