Does anyone have information on this family? States that Thomas' father was William Bamford and Elizabeth Beatrice (Lily) Smith, daughter of the late Hugh Smith of Fernlester, Coleraine, Londonderry, Ireland. I am related through the Smith side.

Hi Gavin,

Elizabeth's father was Hugh Smith. He lived in Fernlester, near Coleraine, Ireland. Hugh and my g-grandmother, Sarah Jane Smith Hight were siblings. Hugh's parents were Michael and Ann (Campbell) Smith. I have a copy of a letter that was written in the 1880's when another brother, John Smith, who lived in New York, went back to Ireland, England and Scotland to visit relatives. If you would like a copy let me know.
