That would be my husband's great grandmother. She was married to (another) John Bambalere, although I don't know many details beyond that. I will ask my husband and father-in-law for any detail they have though, and I would love to hear any details you have as well. My family's history has been done, but I don't know much about my husband's side of the family.

Thanks!
Nicole

Hi, I just saw this thread about Bambalere's - I hadn't realized there were so few of you in the US!

My parents bought a house from a widow named Mary Lee Bambalere in La Jolla CA in 1971. I don't know her late husband's name. Do you know if either of you are related to her?

I'm just curious, since I've been digging into my family history, and my mom has told me stories of meeting Mrs Bambalere.

Erica (Lindsey) Brown

I am trying to track down my dad's family. Everything I have is sketchy. John Bambalere immigrated to LA from France abt 1890, he met and married Mary Morton. They moved to CA and had a son, John. He married a Beverly Harbin before dying in 1970. I have been unable to confirm anything but the death, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on the Bambalere's that immigrated to USA at the turn of the twentieth century. My gt gt grandfather, John Bambalere, met and married Mary Morton and had a son, John, in New Orleans, LA in 1920. They moved to CA where John met and married Beverly Harbin, daughter of Lloyd Harbin and Helen Demorest. They had a son, John, who married Janice Louise Wright Sommerville, daughter of Betty Louise Harter of IA and James Wright of IA. Any help of leads would be greatly appreciated.
