I'm researching this line. I believe this Edward who died in 1780 is my 7th great grandfather. The last thing I have proven is that William Ballenger (1757-1825) is my 5th great grandfather. DNA analysis shows that one of William's descendants has an exact match to Edward's son, Francis. Francis, I believe, also had a brother, Edward Jr., who may have been my William's father. I can't prove any of this and it's getting quite confusing! There is a link here somewhere.
