Transcript of Bible Record and Personal notes kept by Eliza McCLINTOCK 1795/1864, wife of Francis BALLENTINE Sr. 1791/1826, and Elizabeth SHOCH 1829/189?, wife of Francis BALLENTINE, Jr.1820/1889 of Philadelphia and environs. I do not have the copy of the publisherÂ’s page, but the Bible record begins with the marriage of Eliza and Francis in 1816. She went back and filled in the dates on her family, then continues forward through the births of children and grandchildren through 1857.

Marriages:
Francis G. BALLENTINE and Eliza McCLINTOCK were joined in the holy bands of wedlock on the 24th of December in theYear of our Lord 1816.

Francis G. BALLENTINE Jr. and Elizabeth SHOCH were joined in the holy bands of wedlock in the 8th of May in the year of our Lord 1845.

Births: Thos. McCLINTOCK and Mary ALLEN were joined in the Holy Bands of Wedlock April 20th, 1784.

Dear Frank, We send you the remains of the record we received the pictures they are better than ever they look lovely my babe has nice little hair they look very healthy and strong we have had a very clear and cold snap and now are waitng for a snow storm and hear that there is one acoming we have some snow in the yard awaiting for more.
