My particular emigrant is George BALLENTINE who arrived in Philadelphia in 1798, according to his naturalization request in 1802, finalized in 1807. He came from Belfast, of Scotch-Irish ancestry, with wife Isabella and only child Francis Gibson BALLENTINE, who was born in 1791. George died before 1810, Isabella died in 1817 at the age of 52, birth year of 1765. Their only son Francis married Eliza McCLINTOCK, daughter of Thomas McCLINTOCK and Mary ALLEN, on Dec. 24, 1816. I have the Bible record of the family from that point on, which I will be happy to share with any descendants.
