You must have a diferent Ball family line.
The Ball family in Lincoln were definately Loyalists.
Balls Falls Conservation Area atop Jordan Harbour houses Balls Mill that served suring the War of 1812. I think Ball hinself was wounded at the Battle of Chippiwah Creek while loading a cannon against Winfield Scott in 1813.
