Dear relatives and friends of the Baker family. My Aunt Maude Baker Shackelford will be 90 years young on November 8th, 2000. I thought it would be unique to send her a card shower of letters and poems, etc. I did this for my wife for her graduation and it went pretty well. I believe this would be a generous ACT OF KINDNESS on everyone's part whether they are directly related to Aunt Maude or not. Aunt Maude is still in reasonable health and has ten living children. She is the daugther of Henry Wilson Baker and Mary Melissa Easley. She is the only daughter living and now is the eldest of two brothers living, Loyd Baker and Willis Baker. I would like to compile as many letters and poems as possible and send them to her daughter Helen by the first of November. I would like to see how this turns out since we are always so busy in genealogy "looking up the dead" I thought it might be nice this time to honor the living.
