from the Mobile, Alabama Newpsaper
Sunday, August 16, 1936:
• "Mrs. J.W. Baker, 310 North Jackson Street, laughingly told a Press-Register reporter of her experiences as an angler.
"'I was 63 years old last week,' she said, 'but I didn't start fishing until four years ago. Since then I think I've fished in every creek or river near Mobile.
"My greatest fishing thrill,' the little grey-headed lady said, 'was last Thanksgiving Day when I landed 21 speckled trout at Fowl River.'"
Not my line, just sharing.
